When you are looking to start erasing bad credit there are a few steps to take when looking to erase the bad credit that you have gotten. Getting bad credit is much easier than trying to get rid of bad credit. The getting rid of bad credit is going to take time in order to get rid of and will take money that you are going to need to budget to lower the amount of bills that you have on <a href="http://debtbillconsolidationadvice.com/do-you-have-bad-credit-need-personal-loan/"title="" >your credit score.

The first step in erasing the amount of bad credit that you have is to first get a recent and up to date credit score and history. This will allow you to go over the bad and good facts that you have listed on your credit score and this will enable you to view how many bills you are actually responsible for and which ones on your credit score are there by mistake.

Don’t be fooled by the credit agencies as they are capable of making mistakes as well. This means that a bill that has not been paid by someone who has a name similar to yours or identical to yours could have been placed onto your credit score rather than someone else’s. This is why you want to check your credit score often and make sure that these mistakes are not let go until you come to a point where you are trying to erase what bad credit you have.

The next step that you will do is to call each company that you have listed as owing a bill to and will want to work with them to lower your bill. In most cases, speaking with a representative and asking about a charge off will get you a 1/3 of what the bill is actually listed as being owed and this will result in getting that as being paid off from your credit report. Continue working with each one and you will begin to see an improvement in your credit score.
